National Yearling Sale

Register Now for the 2020 National Yearling Sale

Now’s your chance to be part of New Zealand’s first ever online National Yearling Sale - 8 February 2020.

PGG Wrightson’s National Yearling sale will be hosted online through bidr and offers sellers many benefits, including the ability to:

  • Reach more buyers in New Zealand and overseas – buyers can bid from anywhere
  • Reduce stress on horses and lower impact on the environment - buyers purchase stock straight from the farm
  • Reduce costs that are associated with transporting and stabling horses at a physical sale

Pre-Auction Paddock viewing

In the lead up to the sale, buyers will have the opportunity to view horses (that are more relaxed) in their home environment, and to meet their breeders before choosing to bid on any stock.

More details around paddock viewing dates and times will be provided after entries to the sale close.

About bidr

bidr is here to help farmers grow their business by bringing the buying and selling of all things rural online.

bidr is a virtual saleyard reducing both stress on animals and farming’s environmental footprint by keeping stock on farm for longer.

By enabling trades from anywhere, anytime, bidr empowers farmers and agents with more market access, more knowledge and more choice.

In a nutshell, bidr aims to provide better outcomes for farmers, agents, animals and the environment – and that can only lead to better outcomes for rural New Zealand.
